DynaScale Orchestrator

DynaScale Orchestrator is a software platform that pools computing resources to build public, private, and hybrid Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) clouds. DynaScale Orchestrator manages the network, storage, and compute nodes that make up a cloud infrastructure. Use DynaScale Orchestrator to deploy, manage, and configure cloud computing environments.

 

DynaScale Orchestrator can manage tens of thousands of servers installed in multiple geographically distributed datacenters. The centralized management server scales linearly, eliminating the need for intermediate cluster-level management servers. No single component failure can cause cloud-wide outage. Periodic maintenance of the management server can be performed without affecting the functioning of virtual machines running in the cloud.

 

DynaScale Orchestrator offers an administrator’s Web interface, used for provisioning and managing the cloud, as well as an end-user’s Web interface, used for running VMs and managing VM templates. The UI can be customized to reflect the desired service provider or enterprise look and feel.

This experimental feature provides a first look at container deployment technology providing high density per host and fast startup and shutdown.

Network and network services

DynaScale Orchestrator allows users to choose the type of network architecture that best fits their needs. Networks available out-of-box include the Basic Network, a flat L3 network or an advanced network which could be based on VLANs or SDNs.

DynaScale Orchestrator also comes with a built-in virtual router which can provide all of the network services, or customers can choose to use DHCP / DNS services from an external vendor.

Customization and scale of compute offerings

Increase quality of service by allowing users to specify compute parameters including CPU speed, number of CPUs and memory, and dynamically scale up CPU and RAM for running VMs.

DynaScale Monitor

With DynaScale Monitor it is possible to gather virtually limitless types of data from the network. High performance real-time monitoring means that tens of thousands of servers, virtual machines and network devices can be monitored simultaneously. Along with storing the data, visualization features are available (overviews, maps, graphs, screens, etc), as well as very flexible ways of analyzing the data for the purpose of alerting.

 

DynaScale Monitor offers great performance for data gathering and can be scaled to very large environments. Distributed monitoring options are available with the use of DynaScale Monitor proxies. DynaScale Monitor comes with a web-based interface, secure user authentication and a flexible user permission schema. Polling and trapping is supported, with native high performance agents gathering data from virtually any popular operating system; agent-less monitoring methods are available as well.

NOCware monitors critical services and events 24/7 through our Network Operations Team. Using event-driven management, we have the ability to address potential issues before they become critical. We also automate routine maintenance tasks to reduce support costs and maintain quality control.

 

  • Bandwidth Monitoring – Check bandwidth usage real-time or historical up to one year.  Charts of 95/5 usage are also available in real-time or historical.
  • Web Control Center – Customer self-service management of service tickets – 24/7 from any location and any web browser.
  • Patch Management – Identify, approve, update or ignore patches and hotfixes for one or multiple devices.
  • Help Desk Ticketing – Prioritize help desk requests for quick and efficient support of cloud environment.

cloudtrek’s newest data center is a state-of-the-art, 42,500 sq. ft. facility located less than 2 miles from John Wayne Airport. This carrier-neutral facility has diverse entry points, with both Verizon and AT&T Point of Presence. Constructed in 1989, the building features 18 in. raised floors, and is equipped with every essential to house and protect your data. The telecommution abilities are endless with dark fiber to One Wilshire in addition to multiple fiber carriers such as TW Telecom, Level3, Verizon Business, and AT&T. Never fear a power outage again: the Irvine Data Center has N+1 redundancy on all systems, and four 600KW Caterpillar Generators with enough fuel capacity to run for 16 hours.

cloudtrek’s clients are assured that their mission-critical operations will not be affected by California’s well-publicized rolling blackouts. Building power is drawn from two substations, one of which is on a preferred service grid. This preferred service grid of the Los Angeles DWP only provides service to one other building. A second power grid provides the facility with redundancy. The facility is staffed with a 24×7 technical support and video camera surveillance- all designed to bring a greater sense of ease and security to all our clients.

cloudtrek’s main Internet Data Center (IDC) is a 22,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Gigabit Data Center situated below ground in the prestigious Garland Building located in downtown Los Angeles. This multi-million dollar facility is seismically designed to withstand most natural disasters- including an earthquake of 8.3 magnitude. The spacious facility features raised floors, state-of-the-art redundant fiber optics and redundant self contained fire suppression and cooling system. With 4,000 amps of battery backup, and four 1.5 Megawatt turbo-charged generators, the facility can be separated from city water and power services and still remain full operational for up to 28 days – the backup generators alone could power a city of 25,000 people. The facility is staffed with a 24×7 technical support and video camera surveillance- all designed to bring a greater sense of ease and security to all our clients.
